Myrtle Beach (pronounced 'murr-tul') is a coastal resort town city in Horry County, South Carolina County, South Carolina, United States. It is the de facto hub of both the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area and the Grand Strand, a complex of beach towns and barrier islands stretching from Little River, South Carolina River to Georgetown, South Carolina.In recent research, 11% of people in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina have needed the services of a tax settlement attorney to handle tax relief.

Myrtle Beach's economy is mostly tourism-based , with tourism bringing in millions of dollars each season .
